Our Story
Founded in 2007 by Boddhi Satva, Offering Recordings became one of the early independent labels to pioneer and champion Afro House on the international stage, while establishing Ancestral Soul as its core artistic language.
At a time when African-rooted electronic music was still widely misunderstood or treated as a niche within the global house scene, Offering Recordings created a platform where African rhythm, deep house, soul, spirituality, and diasporic storytelling could meet with artistic seriousness and cultural integrity.
Through its catalog, collaborations, remixes, and curatorial vision, the label helped open space for a wider understanding of Afro House — not as a passing trend, but as a living musical movement with history, depth, and multiple territories.
Offering Recordings was never built to chase the market. It was built to protect, document, and expand a sound before the world had fully caught up with it.
